I am Kristen Schlegel, the owner of Lynn Street Productions. Lynn Street Productions creates elegant wedding videos for couples who want to capture their wedding day for a lifetime and share it with friends and family. Below you will find answers to some important questions you might have about Lynn Street Productions and wedding videography in general.

After their weddings, many couples comment on the fact that the day sped by so fast they almost felt like they missed it. Having your wedding on video makes it possible to relive your wedding day for years to come, to share it with friends and family not able to attend, even to show it to your future children.

Many people have a friend or family member who is willing to tape the ceremony, however, there are many things that professional videographers offer that others can not. Professional videographers use equipment that captures clear sound, including vows, and good picture quality even in low lighting. Professional videographers also know what is important to capture and then edit your video, making it much more interesting to watch. It is one thing to attend a wedding and be part of the festivities for several hours, it is another to sit in front of a television and watch a wedding for several hours. Most people would rather watch just the most interesting portions edited together accompanied by music, titles, and transitions.

You are most likely working hard to make a wedding just as you envision it. You deserve to have it filmed by a company that understands the importance not only of your wedding video, but also of your wedding day. With Lynn Street Productions, you can be sure that the video cameras and other technology are not the focus of your wedding. No bright lights will be shined in your guests' faces, no massive equipment will fill up the altar. Yet, you will still end up with a beautiful, clear video that shows off the best and most important moments of your wedding.

Why spend so much time preparing just to miss the fine details of the day? Lynn Street Productions will make sure your video highlights not only the facts of the day, but all of the little things that make weddings so beautiful...the colors of the flowers, the flowing of a veil, the shimmer of the grooms vest.

Let technology work for you, not against you, when you hire a wedding videographer. A tasteful title, some well chosen transitions, and music that you love are all you need to highlight great shots.

Lynn Street Productions offers videotaping and editing
of events, plus several other unique options.

Highlight Videos - Each DVD includes not only the ceremony, but also a highlights video. The highlights video takes the best shots and most important moments and laces them all together with music, transitions, titles and some interesting effects. This is a great video to show friends and family who were not able to attend your wedding.

Photomontages - Photomontages are slideshows of your pictures set to music with transitions and a few other effects. Photomontages can be created using any digital or print images you have. They are perfect to show at receptions, ceremonides, or rehearsal dinners. Often couples choose images starting from their childhood and leading to the present. However, you can also choose to have a montage made from wedding and honeymoon pictures and added to your DVD.

DVDs - Watching a wedding video on DVD is a very different experience than watching it on VHS. With a DVD you can easily move from one section or video to the next without fast forwarding, making it easier to show different audiences just the parts they want to see. DVDs complete with chapter markers, labels and covers come standard with each package. However, although it is rarely a problem, some older DVD players will not play our DVDs.

Interviews - Although I do not do interviews that put people on the spot during the reception and divert attention from the wedding, there are some unobtrusive ways to capture more heartfelt personal messages that can be woven into your video. One option is to have a place set up during the reception where guests can come at their leisure and have video messages recorded. Personal interviews can also be set ahead of time with specific people such as family members or wedding party attendants. Bride and groom interviews can also be planned ahead and used to create a story about how the couple met and decided to marry.
